How are mushrooms(fungi) similar to plants?

They are similar in that they contain a cell wall. They are eukaryotic organisms, They can reproduce using asexual as well as sexual means. They are stationary organisms and do not contain any muscle tissue for movement. They need a ready supply of water to live.How are mushrooms(fungi) similar to plants?
Mushrooms do belong to the plant kingdom. They are UNLIKE most other plants because they do not contain chlorophyll and cannot produce their own food.How are mushrooms(fungi) similar to plants?
NO, they are not similar to plants in any way. Only similarity is both grow in the soil very often.
