Describe what would the world be like without fungi or bacteria?

1. there wud be tremendous instability since bacteria maintain balance in nature byb converting the dead remains of plants and animals into nutrient hence helping in nutrient cycle.


2.ruminants wud not be able to survive as they wud be unable to digest cellulose.


3.absence of intestinal flora r wud mean that no vitamin B12 wud be absorbed in the stomach


4. there wud be no penicillin if fungi wud not be there.


5.there wud be no biopeaticide like Bt(Bacillus thuriengiensis)n thus no genetically improved varieties(eg Bt cotton) etc

1. diseases caused by bacteria and fungi won't exist.


2. ruminants i.e. cows and sheep etc., would not be able to digest cellulose in their food.


3. decompostion of dead material would be very hard.


4. we would't have mushrooms, blue cheese, yogurt, yeast for baking and many other food products.


5. we wouldn't have pencillin.

anyways, they would not affect us if they didn't exist because God would provide us with other things. So thanx God for providing us with all these varieties.Describe what would the world be like without fungi or bacteria?
