Plants: autotrophic (photosynthetic); multicellular with true organs and tissues; cell walls of cellulose; life cycle alternates with gametophyte and sporophyte.





Animals: heterotrophic; multicellular with true organs and tissue; lack cell walls; usually motile at some stage of life cycle; .





Fungi: hetertrophic; decomposers with absorptive nutrition; cell walls of chitin; body formed by tubular filaments tangled to form a mycelium; forms asexual spores and sexual spores; can be beneficial or cause diseases in plants and animals.
