How did the british archaeologist howard carter avoid the fungi on Tutankhamun's tomb walls?

just answer the question. How did the british archaeologist howard carter avoid the fungi on Tutankhamun's tomb walls?
Any stories of deadly fungi being on the walls of Tutankhamun's tomb have absolutely no credibility..

The tomb was still sealed and any form of fungi needs dampness and oxygen to survive.

Its like the stories that promote the theory there was a curse written on the tombs door and that is why everyone involved with the opening of the tomb died.

If you look at the reasons and years of the deaths including Carter's you will see how a couple of facts taken out if context and a lot of innuendo can build a good story.

How did the british archaeologist howard carter avoid the fungi on Tutankhamun's tomb walls?
I think he didn't avoid it.
